Symptoms |
When starting Prinergy, Diagview daemon crashes. A dialog box appears indicating that the processes cannot be enumerated. |
Cause |
The user account used to start the Araxi service does not have sufficient permissions. The account used to start the Araxi service requires the "Act as part of the operating system" right. | |
Solution |
To give the account the "Act as part of the operating system" right: 1) Open Programs | Administrative Tools | Local Security Policy 2) Expand Local Policies | User Rights Assignment 3) Double-click the "Act as part of the operating system" right and add the user. 4) Do the same for the "Log on as a service" right. To repair the corruption: Restore the system state from a known good recent backup. OR 1) Open Programs -> Administrative Tools -> Local Security Policy 2) Expand Local Policies -> User Rights Assignment 3) Double-click "Act as part of the operating system" and add the user account which is used for the Araxi service to the list. 4) Add the same user account to the "Log on as a service" right.
