Solution |
1) If the tape library has a barcode reader, the description field in each tape within the backup set will contain the name (barcode label) of the tape that was the first tape in the set. To find all the tapes used for the backup set, expand the Backup\Prinergy media pool in the RSM snap-in of Computer Management and click on the Description field to sort the list. All the tapes within the backup set will contain the barcode label of the first tape within the set. 2) If the tape library does not have a barcode reader, the name of the tape will be appended with a -1 if it is the first tape of the set, and a -2 if it is the second tape of the set. To find all the tapes within the backup set, expand the Backup/Prinergy pool in the RSM snap-in of Computer Management and click on the Name field to sort the tapes by name. The name of the tapes within the backup set will be the same and the tapes within the set will be appended with a -1, -2,-3 etc. Permanent fix: |
