Symptoms |
On a Prinergy 1.1, 2.0.4, 2.0.5, or 2.0.6 system, the ppu fails to install a patch or minor update, when using the latest PPU.exe. |

Cause |
The Zip.exe/Unzip.exe utilities were changed in the following updates: - Prinergy 1.1 patch 148 - Prinergy 2.0.4.48 - Prinergy 2.0.5.11 - Prinergy 2.0.6.5 If you use the latest PPU, it requires the newer version of Unzip.exe. If an older version of Unzip.exe is found in the Path, the installation of the update will fail with the error shown above. |

Solution |
Use an older version of PPU to install the updates below the one that replaces the Zip/Unzip utilities. Or: Manually install the newer version of Zip/Unzip onto the system then install the update using the latest PPU. ** Note, if you install the newer version of Zip/Unzip, using an older version of the PPU may fail.
