Error |
PDeviceAndServiceD DASS_ServerImpl.cpp(127): Unable to add service: ImportExport-JTP-S2-2: Service includes a feature which is not licensed. |
Symptoms |
Import/Export jtp fails to start with the error below. However, UADM shows that there are sufficient licenses for the JTP's installed on the system. If you uncheck the Import Job File option in the properties of the JTP, the JTP will start. |
Cause |
The registry key HKLM\Software\Creo\Araxi\Settings\Default\DASS\<jtp name>\Features contains two instances of the license-able option. In the case of the Import Job File option, the value 61 will appear twice. For example: - Features: REG_SZ: 58;59;61;62;63;61 When checking for the licenses, each instance of the value 61 is being counted, and the limit is being reached. |

Solution |
To update the registry to have only one 61 recorded as a licensed feature: 1) In UADM, go to the JTPs tab. 2) Right-click the Import/Export JTP and click Properties. 3) In the Properties window, uncheck the Import Job File option and click OK to save the change. 4) Go back into Properties and re-check the Import Job File option and click OK to save the change. 5) Do the same for each JTP that has duplicate entries for the feature.
