Error |

Symptoms |
The Prinergy System Monitor is reporting the disk space on the system drive is low. There are several log files with the name "log.NNNNNNNN", (e.g. log.00000001, log.00000002, etc.) in the %AraxiHome%\IonaOrbacus\bin\Notifiy_Database folder. |
Cause |
The Orbacus Notification service in Prinergy 2.1.0.18 and up is creating these log files. These log files cannot be deleted without knowing which log file(s) are in use. To find out which log files can be safely removed, run DB_ARCHIVE.EXE as explained below. |
Solution |
To remove the unused log files: 1) Open a command window. 2) CD to the %AraxiHome%\IonaOrbacus\bin\Notifiy_Database folder. 3) Run "DB_ARCHIVE.EXE -al". This will list all the log files that are in use or known by the Notification service. 4) Delete all the log.NNNNNNNN files NOT in the list. Permanent fix: |
