Symptoms

Cannot create tasks.

PJobTicketCreatorD gets the error "LCMN_Exception ... Access violation exception.." shown when creating a task.

Workshop will get the error: "An error occurred while creating the subtasks for this task. The subtask list is incomplete."

Cause

Solution

1) Find the first instance of the PJobTicketCreatorD crash in the Araxi logs. (search for the string PJobTicketCreatorD LCMN_ExceptionInfo.cpp within the Araxi logs) and find the process template name that caused the crash.

- In Explorer, open the folder %ARAXIHOME%\CreoAraxi\System\Log

- Search for "PJobTicketCreatorD LCMN_ExceptionInfo.cpp"

- Find the oldest Araxixxx.log file containing the error message.

- Above the error message, search for the process template used:

- DIAG message: X 10Jul06 17:12:09.000 [5804.4212] YCS1879-914 ARAXI TWFMManagerD HLOG_LogToHistory.cpp(410): Process screen1_CD2_175:Plates_Output:[1 Separation] submitted.

- In this case, the process template was "screen1_CD2_175" in the process template group called "Plates_Output"

2) Open the process template in the Process Template Editor and resave the process template. Resaving the process template should rewrite the template in the correct format, with all the parameters included.

3) Restart the PJobTicketCreatorD (or stop and restart Prinergy).
