Symptoms |
When starting an EPM server as a secondary server, the diagnostic view daemon will not start up, however, when switched over into EPM mode, the diagnostic view daemon starts up correctly. |

Cause |
The AraxiS.inf and Araxi.inf contain the token %CREO_HOME% which should have been replaced with the path to the CreoAraxi folder. | |

Solution |
Change the token %CREO_HOME% to the path of the CreoAraxi folder in both the %AraxiHome%\CreoAraxi\Bin\AraxiS.inf and Araxi.inf files. 1) Open the Araxi.inf file in Notepad. 2) Search for %CREO_HOME% and replace it with the path of the CreoAraxi folder (e.g. D:\Prinergy2.0.4\CreoAraxi) 3) Save the file 4) Do the same for the AraxiS.inf file. 5) Fail over to EPM mode and back to normal mode and make sure the Diagnostic View daemon starts up correctly. *** The attached zip file ReplaceTokens.zip contains two scripts, ReplaceCreoHome.bat and ReplaceTokens.cmd. Unzip the two script files into the same folder and execute the script ReplaceCreoHome.bat. This will replace the tokens with the path to the CreoAraxi folder in both Araxi.inf and AraxiS.inf.
