UADM gets "Out of memory" error when opening AFP Mapping dialog box

Product

  Prinergy 3.1

Platform

Intel

Operating system

Windows 2000

Error

An "Out of memory" pop-up box appears.

Symptoms

When opening the AFP Mapping dialog box (Tools -> AFP Mapping) in UADM, the memory usage of UADM climbs up to 300 MB and eventually gets an "Out of memory" error.

Cause

  UADM is looking for these sample entries under [/etc/otherhosts]:

"SOMEZONE:blatserver1"="NTBLATSERVER1"

"SOMEZONE:blatserver2"="NTBLATSERVER2"

and these entries under [shares]:

NtHost="NTBLATSERVER1"

"MacVolumeA"="NTShareA"

"MacVolumeB"="NTShareB"

NtHost="NTBLATSERVER2"

"MacVolumeX"="NTShareX"

Solution

Put these sample entries back into the otherHosts file.

NOTE: The entries must be exactly as shown. I.E. put the sample entries right after ['/etc/otherhosts] and [shares].

Any value added to the otherHosts file must be after the samples.

[/etc/otherhosts]

"SOMEZONE:blatserver1"="NTBLATSERVER1"

"SOMEZONE:blatserver2"="NTBLATSERVER2"

[shares]

NtHost="NTBLATSERVER1"

"MacVolumeA"="NTShareA"

"MacVolumeB"="NTShareB"

NtHost="NTBLATSERVER2"

"MacVolumeX"="NTShareX"
