Symptoms |
Proofs and final output show that the clipping path is misaligned with respect to the content. The result is that portions of the background show through at the edges of the clipped object. How to reproduce the problem: A photoshop EPS is created with a clipping path separating a forground object from its bacground. The resolution of the EPS is greater than 300 dpi. The EPS is subsequently refined using a process plan with downsampling enabled to bring the final resolution to 300 dpi. |

||
Cause |
When downsampling occurs in areas of high contrast, the content of some pixels will change. Since the clipping path was aligned to specific pixel positions, this change in content will result in different content within the clipping path. | |

Solution |
Refine the page with downsampling disabled. Permanent fix: Prinergy 2.0 |
