Symptoms

A rectangle composed of 100% of all four process colors renders on the output. The rectangle was not in the original page, nor in the PDF created by the refiner.

To reproduce the problem:

A CEPSLink page containing grayscale informaton only is refined in Prinergy. A loose page proof, imposed proof, or final output is created.

Cause

Solution

Re-refine the CEPSLink page with a process plan that includes Color Matching. The settings in the dialog are not important.
