Symptoms |
The Pitstop selection tool and PitStop Information window behave differently with pages from CT/LW Import than with other PDF pages. The selection tool appears as an eyedropper. The Information window only allows the user to change linework color values. |

Cause |
Enfocus Pitstop was designed to detect PDF files from Brisque PDF2Go and treat them differently. Prinergy's CT/LW Import feature is based on Brisque PDF2Go, so CT/LW pages from Prinergy also behave differently in Pitstop. This behavior is intentional. PDF pages from CT/LW Import or PDF2Go are raster data that cannot be edited using vector tools. Pitstop only allows operations that make sense for these pages, such as changing linework color values. Prinergy 2.0 includes a licensable feature to convert CT/LW pages to PDF. If these PDFs are opened in Adobe Acrobat, the Pitstop tools do not behave as expected. |

Solution |
In the Related Links section, below, there is a Perl script that will modify a PDF from CT/LW Import or PDF2Go. These modifications will force Pitstop to behave normally. Use this script for troubleshooting purposes only. Do not release this script to customers. This script requires that Perl is installed on the machine where it will be executed. Permanent fix: |
