Error |

Symptoms |
Artifacts (dashed lines, blank lines, etc.) appear on the output. |
Cause |
This is most often caused by a resolution mis-match between the input file (example, 2032 dpi CT/LW and PDF) and the output device (example, 2400 dpi Trendsetter). | |
Solution |
First ensure that the CT/LW Best Practices (as outlined in "Best Practices When Creating CT/LW Files for Output in Prinergy") are being adhered to. (Primarily, set CEPS JTP to resample LW to 2400, etc.). . If this is not possible (for example, the page cannot be re-converted with correct settings), then it might be possible to eliminate the artifact by shifting the page by a very small amount (example, if the artifact runs left-to-right, adjust the page geometry to shift the page up by a small amount, such as 0.001 pt). Be sure to check output carefully to ensure that a different artifact hasn't been introduced on that page. Permanent fix: |
