Symptoms |
The screening/calibration curves list for a particular output JTP or output pool is empty. |
Cause |
Three possible causes are known: 1. The output JTP is disabled, or not started. 2. Improper Harmony configuration. Prinergy and Harmony are installed using unique installers. After both are installed, there are a few manual steps that must be followed to make Prinergy and Harmony work together (see the installation manual for details). After you perform the manual configuration, you must restart Prinergy. 3. Device and Service daemon has crashed/stopped and been automatically restarted. |
Solution |
For each cause: 1. Restart the output JTP, then open a new process plan window. 2. Perform the manual configuration steps as documented in the installation manual. Basically, ensure that there is a Harmony$ share on the primary server, that there is a valid Harmony database named Calcurve.hmy in the Harmony$ share, and that the Harmony application points towards this Harmony database. 3. All output JTPs must be stopped and restarted. The Device and Service daemon does not pull calibration and screening data from the individual JTPs. Rather, the data must be pushed from the JTPs to the Device and Service daemon. The screening and calibration data get pushed out at the start of each JTP. The calibration data additionally get pushed out each time the Harmony database is updated, assuming that the Harmony database is set up properly. (cause 2) Permanent fix: |
