Solution |
Refine using the following process plan so that all RGB and CMYK images and graphics, including spot colors, will be converted to RGB. 1. In the refine process plan, ensure that the Colorconvert process is enabled. 2. Click to enable all the default input ICC profiles (CMYK image and graphics, RGB image and graphics). User-defined input ICC profiles are also acceptable. 3. For the destination, or final profile, type: monitor\HDPP sRGB Profile.icm exactly as shown. This sets up the conversion of all images and graphics to RGB. 4. Select the Set Colors to Knockout checkbox and disable Black to Overprint. This ensures that all colors will be converted except for black because the color matcher does not operate on overprinted colors. 5. Set Map Spot Colors to All to Process. 6. To downsample images to 72 dpi, set the appropriate box in the Normalize tab. The main limitation of this procedure is that only composite files can be run through this process. However, once it is set up, producing output is quick and easy. Note: The Advanced Color Management option is required to convert CMYK to RGB. Permanent fix: |
