Symptoms |
Prinergy Administrator reports that it cannot shut down a JTP. Sometimes a process will fail or alternatively you will attempt to shut down a JTP using the Prinergy Administrator. You will need to be able to delete/kill a process but you are unable to use the Prinergy Administrator. Your only alternative is to use the Windows NT Task Manager, but the problem is not knowing which processes to delete. |

Solution |
Stop all related JTPs (all renderers, all trappers, all normalizers, etc.) on that node using the Prinergy Adminstrator, kill all rogue processes and restart all JTPs. Not elegant but effective. -- Proofing Devices - SupraAssem.exe, SupraRIP.exe,PProofiingE.exe -- Platesetter Devices - SupraAssem.exe, SupraRIP.exe, PPlatingE.exe -- Normalizer - PNormalizerJTP.exe -- Trapper - PTrapJTP.exe -- ColorMatcher - PColorJTP.exe Permanent fix: |
