Some marks do not render properly in Prinergy (with no error message displayed) [ID: 81593]

Error

   None

Symptoms

   Marks such as $[LayoutName] or $[JobName], or some others, do not render when output in Prinergy.

Cause

   The Adobe™ RIP does not appear to be reading the marks file properly.

Solution

   To restore the previous method of handling marks, reset the registry on the server and restart Marks JTP as follows:
  1. Open Regedit.
  2. Locate software > Creo > Araxi > Default > MRKJ.
  3. Add a reg_dword to the marks registry key for MRKJ_WordFinderVersion and set its value to 2, or change the existing reg_dword value to 2.
  4. Restart the Marks JTP.
