Symptoms

When you start the Workshop installer from a Mac volume mounted with the AFP protocol, a dialog box appears asking for an administrator password. If the lock icon is selected, you cannot enter the password.

Solution

• Mount the Workshop installer share on the Macintosh computer using the SMB protocol, or copy the installer folder to a local volume on the Macintosh computer and start it from there.

or

• Upgrade to Mac OS 10.4.
