Can't create new jobs: Workshop reports "No shared volumes were found." [1088023]

Product

Kodak® Prinergy®, all versions

Operating system

  • Microsoft® Windows® 2000
  • Microsoft Windows Server® 2003

Error

No shared volumes were found.[1088023]

Symptoms

Prinergy Workshop reports the error message when you attempt to create a new job.

Cause

If the AraxiVolume share on a server is removed and the last job you created was on that volume, Workshop fails.

If there are no more AraxiVolume shares on that server, you cannot create a new job until that volume is made available again, even if you have a different server available that has a shared volume.

Solution

  • Make the share available again.

  • Or,
  • Delete the Workshop preferences.

To delete the Workshop preferences:

  1. On your Macintosh hard drive, locate \Users\<current user name>\Library\Application Support\Creo\Workshop.
  2. Delete the <current user name>.props file.
  3. Restart Workshop.
