Symptoms

You cannot restart the Prinergy system after restoring from the current tape backup.

Cause

You have restored a Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 Ntbackup onto a system that is at an earlier version of Windows—for example, Windows Server 2003 SP0 or SP1.

Solution

Update your system to Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2, and then restore the backup.
