Kodak® Prinergy® 3.1.0.7
Platform |
PC workstation | ||
Operating system |
Microsoft Windows® XP Pro
Symptoms |
After replacing a Mac® workstation with a PC workstation running the Microsoft Windows XP Pro operating system, you can log in and view jobs in Prinergy Workshop, but you are unable to access process templates. You are also unable to refine jobs, run Kodak Prinergy Virtual Proofing System software, or produce plates from the workstation. You can successfully perform all these tasks on render stations running the Microsoft Windows® 2000 operating system, or on Mac workstations running the Apply Mac OS® operating system. |
||
Cause |
The PC workstation has been added to a domain which uses active directory user login. You, the operator, do not have permission to log in. |
||
Solution |
Ask your domain administrator to add the PC workstation to the domain of the Prinergy primary server and set permissions to access the AraxiHome shares and the job shares. You must restart the workstation for the changes to take effect. |
