Kodak® Prinergy® Connect, version 3.1.0.5 or later |
Platform |
Mac® computer |
Operating system |
Mac OS® X |
Symptoms |
A user connects to Prinergy Workshop using a Mac computer via the SMB file sharing protocol. When the user opens a Prinergy job, the data does not display correctly. |
Cause |
The Prinergy shared volumes are configured to use the AFP file sharing protocol. Prinergy uses AFP to connect Mac client computers to any file server volumes that are shared and mounted for use as input file volumes, job volumes, and so on. |
Solution |
To switch to the SMB protocol, you must convert any Prinergy shared volumes to use the SMB protocol. For information on converting volumes, see the Prinergy Administrator Help. Note: Do not use both the AFP and SMB protocols for connecting to Prinergy volumes from a Mac computer. |
