Symptoms

The Prinergy 4.0.2.0 upgrade fails with the above error.

Cause

The Creo key is missing from the registry at HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NTMS\OMID\Tape\Creo.

Solution

1. Save the attached Creo registry key to your hard drive.
2. Select Start > Run and type regedit.
3. In the Registry Editor, locate \\HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NTMS\OMID\Tape\.
4. Select File > Import, locate the new Creo registry key, and click Open.
5. After the registry key is imported, right-click Creo.
6. For the Path value, ensure that the correct location of the CreoWfsMLL.dll file appears:
   %SystemRoot%\system32\CreoWfsMLL.dll
7. Close the Registry Editor.

The 4.0.2.0 installation should now work.
