Symptoms

You want to change the separation output order. For example, you want the plates to come out of the processor in a specific order for mounting on press.

Solution

To change the separation output order:

1. On the Prinergy primary server, open the Registry Editor (Start > Run > regedit).
2. In the Registry Editor, locate HKLM\SOFTWARE\Creo\Araxi\Settings\Default\JOBD.
3. Add a new string key named SeparationOrderList.
4. Right-click SeparationOrderList, and select Modify.
5. In the Edit String dialog box, in the Value data box, make the value semicolon-delimited and type the output separations order that you want (for example, Cyan;Magenta;Yellow;Black).
6. Click OK.
7. Close the Registry Editor.
8. Restart the server.

Note: If the registry value is present, the separations will always be output in the order that is specified by the registry value. If the registry value is not present, Prinergy outputs separations according to the Workshop setting.
