Symptoms |
Prinergy Connect stops responding when you try to import an exported custom color library from KPS or Prinergy Evo. The error log informs you that Prinergy was not able to communicate with the ColorDatabase server running on the host computer. |
||
Cause |
The Prinergy Connect only accepts color library files that contain a directory path to the location of the ICC profiles. However, Prinergy Evo color library files just include the name of the ICC profile. |
||
Solution |
Before importing the file into Prinergy Connect, open the Prinergy Evo .dat color library file in a text editor software, and add a fake directory path to the line containing the name of the ICC profile. For example: \\FAKEPATH\Share\USWebCoatedSWOP.icc |
