PChangeJobShare utility stops responding when checking for conflicts

Product

Kodak® Prinergy® Connect™ version 4.0.2.0 to 4.1.2.0

Error

[SERVERERROR] ORA-01422: exact fetch returns more than requested

Symptoms

When the PChangeJobShare utility is run to move jobs to another share or to check for conflicts (using the -a parameter), PChangeJobShare stops responding and the error message appears.

Cause

Duplicate paths exist within one share. This probably occurred because the user processed a task in the job and then immediately copied the job. A problem in the Copy Job/Move Job feature copies files that are temporarily registered to a workflow task.

Solution

Run the DBCS_Path_CheckChildConflictsFix script to resolve the conflict:

  1. If the system is running version 4.0.2.0 to 4.0.2.5, right-click DBCSPathCheckConflicts.zip and select Save Target As. Store the compressed file on the hard drive of the primary server, and then extract the DBCS_Path_CheckChildConflictsFix.sql file to the root of drive C.

  2. Note: If the system is at version 4.0.2.6 or later, the DBCS_Path_CheckChildConflictsFix.sql file is already included in the build.
  3. Open a command-prompt window, and type:
    SqlPlus.exe prinergy/araxi
  4. At the SQL> prompt, run the script: @DBCS_Path_CheckChildConflictsFix.sql
  5. Type exit.
  6. Run the PChangeJobShare utility again. Use the -r parameter to resume the previously failed attempt.
