Symptoms

You cannot adjust the position image content in TIFF output.

Applying the Shift Along settings in the Layout section of the Output Imposition process template do not have an effect on the position of the output on plate when sending a TIFF file to an output device via Print Console or CS Xpose.

Cause

If in the output imposition process template dialog box, Layout section, in the Size box you select Digital or Cut Sheet and in the Maximum Width and Maximum Height boxes you type 0, you cannot change the position of the image. If the width and height of the file are not defined, then Prinergy Evo has no relative area to shift the content within. Prinergy Evo then defaults to positioning the imposition as it is defined in the imposition software and does not not allow for any adjustments.

Solution

1. In the Output process template dialog box, Layout section, in the Size box, select Cut Sheet.

2. In the Maximum Width and Maximum Height boxes, type the appropriate plate size.
