All versions of Prinergy® Evo | ||
Symptoms |
When using a Create Imposition Job Definition Format (JDF) generated by Prinergy Evo, output is offset from center even though centering is enabled in an Output Imposition process template. |
||
Cause |
Selected a Preps device that was made using a CS Xpose or Print Console PostScript Printer Description (PPD) file that was not correctly created. When this file is being used with the Create Imposition process template, it can cause an unexpected shift. |
||
Solution |
Either correct the PPD by generating a new one without the offset and creating a new Preps device, or use the generic laser printer device. The JDF does not require the settings from the PPD file to be placed correctly on plate in Prinergy Evo. The same thing can be done during output from Preps if you are generating JDF. |
