Symptoms |
After refining a file using profile-based PDF Preflight (by clicking Advanced in the PDF Preflight section of the refine to PDF process template), spot colors in the file have been converted to CMYK regardless of the Spot Color Handling settings in the process template. |

Cause |
There is a conflict between profile-based PDF Preflight and the Color Matcher. | ||
Solution |
Do not use profile-based PDF Preflight and the Color Matcher in the same process template. Match colors can be used without profile-based PDF Preflight. If using profile-based PDF Preflight, disable Match Colors in the Refine process template. | ||
