Error |
A job stops in the Brisque software with error 7120 (or 7107), which is a Turbo Screening Processor (TSP), Direct Memory Access (DMA) error. You may also see TSP error 7125. |
Symptoms |
The job stops with error 7120 or 7107. This happens intermittently but fairly frequently (several times an hour). It appears to be a hardware failure on the TSP, but replacing the board does not help. |
Cause |
The TSP board in the Brisque software does not deal well with TIFF files created in other workflows. | |

Solution |
For errors 7120 or 7107, the files will run successfully if they are first translated to NLW files. You can
use hot folders to automate the translation. See the Brisque documentation for information about how to add a
conversion step to a hot folder template. For TSP error 7125, this is fixed in Brisque 5.1.3.2 with output update 4.
If you're running a version of Brisque earlier than 5.1.3.2, please use the attached patch. The patch contains two files named cmp1.rbf and cmp2.rbf located in: /scitex/version/plt_extobj/tsp1.0/byPass/ To apply the patch:
