Error

The process cannot find pages that are referenced by the imposition JDF.

Symptoms

The process fails if you use a hot folder that is linked to a create imposition process template followed by an output from imposition hot folder.

Cause

The create imposition process creates a JDF file from a run list of PDF files. In the Input Files Relocation area of the create imposition process template, you can control whether Prinergy Evo copies or moves the PDF files. An error occurs if you copy or move the PDF files to an output from imposition hot folder. This type of hot folder does not accept PDF files and relocates them to its Input_Error folder. The output from imposition process will fail to find the PDF files in the Input_Error folder.

Solution

Set a different location for the PDF files so they are located outside of the hot folders or ensure that the create imposition process template leaves the PDF files in their original location.
