Error |
In high-resolution output, small slices that do not line up correctly within images appear in screens or dots within AM screens. This can occur in either dimension. | ||
Symptoms |
AM screens that appear to be interrupted or restarted within images |
||
Cause |
This is related to the Set Halftone Phase for each Page check box in the Calibration & Screening section for 1-bit output. The Adobe CPSI RIP contains a bug that sometimes incorrectly interprets tiles within an image as the beginning of a new page. The result is that the RIP restarts the halftone phase in the middle of an image, creating the appearance of a slice in the image screening. |
||
Solution |
Clearing the Set Halftone Phase for each Page check box removes the artifact. |
