Error

Workflow Manager fails three times and the Prinergy Evo Server software stops.

Symptoms

Prinergy Evo stops with a Workflow Manager failure. On the Prinergy Evo server computer, you may see an alert about JWorkflowManagerD from the Prinergy Evo icon in the Microsoft^® Windows^® notification area of the desktop.

Cause

When using workflows with TIFF Downloader, default data retention settings can cause the Workflow Manager to fail. This happens because the workflow elements may be deleted before the completed processes.

Solution

1. In the Process Viewer, select System > Data Retention.
2. In the Keep completed workflow elements for box, type a value that is equal to the number that appears in the Keep completed processes for box.
3. In the Keep completed workflows for box, type a value is higher than the values in the other two boxes.
4. Click OK.
