Symptoms

When you select Cut sheet in the output from PDF process template and output to DCS, the cut sheet selection is not used.

Using the default configuration, process templates that are set to output to DCS use the bounding box from the input file. This can affect a number of factors in the workflow, resulting in unexpected file sizes in output.

Solution

To change it, perform the following steps:

1. Using Microsoft^® Windows^® Explorer, locate the following file on the Prinergy Evo server computer:
   
   <hard drive> \Program Files\Kodak\Prinergy Evo <version>\static_data\common\PFWK_Dcs.ini




If the file isn't available, download it and copy it to the common folder.


2. Using Notepad, look for the following text in the file:
   UseTrimBoxAsBoundingBox=1



3. Change the line to read as follows:
   UseTrimBoxAsBoundingBox=0.



4. Save the change in PFWK_Dcs.ini.


5. Restart the Printer JTP or the Prinergy Evo Administrator.
