PS/M 8.0 for OS X release to Early Production

We are pleased to announce that PS/M^® 8.0 is released to Early Production.
Running native on Macintosh^® OS X with an Aqua UI, this latest version boasts significant improvements in performance on Macintosh G5. Other features include, for example, new Adobe^® CPSI RIP with automatic transparency flattening, Dolev^® 800V3 support, PDF/X-1a support via PDF2Go, 1-bit TIFF direct expose.

The following configurations and options are available:

• 015-00328A PS/M version 8 for Lotem^® 400
• 01R49694 PDF2Go for PS/M
• 501R49877 PressTouch^® 1.2 with FAF
• 015-00327A PS/M InkPRO Software Module (OS X)
• 015-00172A Staccato 25 for PS/M Lotem Xpose
• 015-00269A 3rd Party to Dolev Connectivity

The following customer upgrades are available:

• MSC v7.1 customers can purchase PS/M 8 HASP4 Dongle Exchange (015-00244A) and obtain PS/M 8.0 software free of charge.
• T&M v7.1 customers can purchase 015-00267A - PS/M 8 upgrade from version 7.x.
• Customers who own PS/M version below 7, they can purchase 015-00268A - PS/M 8 upgrade from versions below 7.

PS/M 8.0 upgrades include dongle exchange, and customers should return their old dongles to Creo.
PS/M 8.0 does not include full migration of customer configurations. It is highly recommended that Creo installation be included, at extra charge.
For CEM customers, a one-day installation charge should be applied unless it is sold with a system that includes a Creo device.

This version does not support the new Macintosh OS 10.3 (Panther) software - an update will be provided at a later time.
All new sales will be shipped with PS/M 8.0. For upgrades, refer to your CSC's announcement or contact your CSC Product Support Manager.
