Symptoms

In certain cases CopyDot data for example, PS images, DCS 2 from Renaissance 2 Scanner disappear after the RIP. Or, the RIP completed, but in the Preview you don't see the CopyDot data.

Cause

If you have created a pre-separated PostScript file that contains linear blend elements from Freehand, after the RIP, the Vignette disappears.

This is a known problem and will be fixed in the next version of Brisque and PS/M.

Solution

  1. Open the RIP dialog box.
  2. Click the Vignette handling button to open the Vignette handling dialog box.
  3. Clear the Convert Vignette to PS3 option.
  4. The files should RIP correctly.
