Symptoms

  

After RIPing in PS/M 8.1, spot color text disappears or appears as white.

Solution
  1. Quit the PS/M 8.1 software.
  2. Download the ColorEquiv.ps configuration file from eCentral > Downloads > PS/M > Updates > Version 8.1.
    Or, download ColorEquiv_ps .
  3. Replace the new file with the file by the same name that is located in: PS/M8.1/Components/ DolevFiles/APPLICATION/version/config/ RIP_FSE/PSRoot/Startup
  4. Start the PS/M 8.1 software.
