Symptoms |
When you copy the Oracle® installer for Creative Workflow/Asset Library (or TeamWorks/EyeMedia) to disk and try running it from the copied disk image, the installer never starts. Installing Oracle from the production CD works successfully. |
||
Cause |
The Oracle 9i installer does not correctly handle any spaces in the directory path of the disk location. In particular, if you copy the installer to your desktop, the space in My Documents in the path to the desktop directory causes problems. |
||
Solution |
If you need to copy the installer to disk, copy it to a location where the directory path does not contain spaces, such as E:\temp or on the J:\ drive. |
