Error

The log file CSWNotification.log contains messages that include the following text: Err.Description: Named template ‘GetJobAndCustomer’ does not exist in the stylesheet.

Symptoms

The system operates normally, except that it does not send e-mail notifications to users.

You may have first noticed the problem after upgrading, or after you started the Creative Workflow/Asset Library/Variable Data Print server.

You may also notice the log files NOTI_Store.log and CSWDiagnostics.log growing very large very quickly, as e-mail errors are encountered and continually written to these logs.

Cause

Installation of Microsoft software update KB936021 “Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services.” You may have installed the Microsoft update as part of another operation, such as an upgrade.

Solution

Remove the software update:

  1. On the Creative Workflow/Asset Library/Variable Data Print server, from the Start menu, click Control Panel.
  2. Click Add or Remove Programs.
  3. In the list of Microsoft updates, click KB936021. The updates are listed in numerical order.
  4. Click Change/Remove.
  5. Follow the Remove Wizard instructions. If the wizard warns you that some other software updates may fail to work properly if KB936021 is removed, proceed with the removal anyway.
  6. Restart the server when prompted.

For TeamWorks and EyeMedia 2.1.1, the problem is fixed in build 2.1.1.953.

For Creative Workflow, Asset Library, and Variable Data Print 3.0.3, the problem is fixed in build 3.0.3.2075.
