Symptoms |
When attempting to start the Color Target Manager on a recently installed system, the Color Target Manager fails to launch, and the above error message appears. |
||
Cause |
Prior to version 3.0.3.2084, a bug prevented the TWEB\ColorManagement\PathToColorManagementDirectories registry value from being set up correctly during installation. If color management was performed when the server was in Production, the IP address of the server was placed in the directory path of this registry value (for example, \\10.1.26.15\AraxiHome\TwAm\data). Once the server was shipped from Production, and a new IP address was assigned to the server, the directory path with the old IP address was no longer valid. |
||
Solution |
To work around the problem, edit the registry value and replace the IP address with the name of the server. For example, The problem is fixed in version 3.0.3.2084 and later, so that the installer always sets the registry value using the server name rather than the IP address. |
