Symptoms

When trying to upload elements using a Web browser on a Mac computer, you select the elements to upload and click Upload, but the upload never starts; only a blank window appears. Uploads using Kodak InSite Desktop for Mac or PC, or using a Web browser on a PC, complete successfully.

Cause

Sun^™ Java^™ version 1.5.0_13, which is available as a Mac update for Mac OS 10.4.11, causes problems with older versions of Creative Workflow/Asset Library.

To check the version of Java installed on your Mac, in a Mac terminal window, run the command: Java -version

If the Java version is 1.5.0_13, this is likely the problem.

Solution

Install a newer version of Creative Workflow/Asset Library on the server. The versions in which this problem is fixed are:

• 2.1.1.954 and later
• 3.0.3.2098 and later
• 3.0.5.2058 and later
