Symptoms |
When a user creates a task, the e-mail notification is returned with an error message similar to that described in the Error field. |
||
Cause |
When creating a task, the task creation e-mail notification is sent as the user who is logged in. For example, if you are logged in to http://insite.mycustomer.com and create a task for another Kodak user, the notification is sent as user@kodak.com, but is being sent from a server in the mycustomer.com domain. In this example, when the kodak.com e-mail relay server receives the e-mail message, it treats it as a spoof e-mail because the message is coming from a kodak.com address and not being relayed from the kodak.com domain. |
||
Solution |
Upgrade to Creative Workflow 3.0.3.2104, 3.0.5.2275, or 3.1.1.2536. In these versions, the task notification e-mail message is sent as the system administrator of the Creative Workflow server with a reply to the address of the task creator. |
