Command: plot ds

Description:

Plots a drum speed series, where:

The <pattern> parameter is an integer specifying which built-in test pattern to use. Use the list pattern command to display the available patterns (3 is ideal for the drum speed series).

The <start> parameter specifies the starting value in rpm, with a resolution of three decimal places. The range is the same as for the hdm NVS ds parameter.

The <increment> parameter specifies the step size, also in rpm and with a resolution of three decimal places.

For example, "plot 3 100 ds 120 1.25" will plot pattern #3 several times over a 10" width, starting with the ds set to 120 rpm and incrementing it 1.25 rpm with each series step.

The current hdm NVS parameter "ds" is ignored during a drum speed series.

The number of steps and the width of each stripe are set by the hdp NVS parameters "fmsl" and "fmsw" respectively.

Applies To:

  • Thermal

Syntax:

plot <pattern> [<length>] ds <start> <increment>
