Otherwise, click RESUME.

Operator Action:

Open the front or top door of the machine and check inside the machine. If the drum is empty, close the door and click "MEDIA CLEAR". If the drum is NOT empty, close the door and click "RESUME".

Service Information:

Make sure the customer visually inspect the drum. In addition, remove any flyoff media in the machine.

Cause:

• While clearing a previous error, the operator clicked "MEDIA CLEAR" without manually remove the carrier or plate. This caused the firmware to think that the drum is empty yet there is actually something on the drum.
• Mis-use of the "proof mode" command.
