Notes:

The following is the installation and testing procedure of
the vacuum generator:
Before installation:
- Make sure the firmware version is compatible. Use command "list version" to list the firmware version.
It should display "MPE Firmware Version X.XX" in the first couple of lines where X.XX should be 1.10 or
above in order for the drum vacuum generator to work.
If the firmware version number is below 1.1, upgrade to the latest firmware version according to the latest
Thermal Trendsetter Spectrum MPE Firmware Release Notes.
- Make sure the vacuum sensors are properly calibrated. This can be verified by using command "dvac" and
check the "null adc offset" value which should be around 100. If calibration is not done, please do so
according to the Thermal Trendsetter Spectrum MPE Firmware Version 1.1 Release Notes.
After installation:
- After the DVAC generator hardware has been installed, type "set alproof dvgi 1" followed by "nvs save alproof".
Testing procedure:
- Load a 4-up carrier onto the drum by using command "pload c 1"
- Load a 4-up receiver by using command "pload r".
- Load a 4-up donor (any color) by using command "pload d 9".
- Wait 1 minute while the drum vacuum builds up.
- Turn off the drum vacuum pump by using command "dvac off".
- Turn on the drum vacuum generator by using command "dvac generator on".
- Read the drum vacuum level by using command "dvac". The pressure level should be able to stabilize above 615 units. If not, check the hosing for leakage.
- If no leakage in hosing is found, than the the dvac generator threshold (alproof dvgt cal) need to be adjusted. This should only happen on high elevation customer sites.
- The dvac generator threshold should be set to 15 units below the stabilizing level but should be above "proof dvrt cal".
- After the test is done, type "dvac on", "dvac generator off", "punload d", "punload r" to return the machine to normal state.
