Dolev 4Press - Punch Master II Board

The Punch M board is replaced with Punch M-II board to improve the reliability of the system.

1. Reason for Change
   The new board is more reliable and can work without the special slave board on the Bar Punch system. It must be installed with the new Punch S-II Board on Side Punch System. On Side Punch system this FCO must be done together with FCO 21716.
2. Description of Change
   The Punch M board is replaced with Punch M-II board.
3. Change Procedure

3.1 Bar (head) Punch system

1. Power off the image setter.
2. Disassemble the Punch M board and the special punch s board.
3. Remove the small cable from the supplied Master Board. (The cable is marked: Remove cable for bar Punch.
4. Install the supplied Master board.
5. Connect the molex 4 connector to the board, connect the home position to the bar punch home position and the punch harness to the D-type connector.

6. Power on the imagesetter.
7. Check and reconfigure the punch system.

3.2 Side Punch system or side and Bar Punch System.

1. Power off the imagesetter.
2. If bar Punch installed follow the instructions of bar punch system above. If not, do not remove the cable from the Master board.
3. Perform FCO 21716 on all the Punch slave boards

4. Test Procedure
   Check that the Punch system is working properly.

   The used boards can be disposed.

   Material for this FCO will be supplied two months after an order will be placed.
