Load/Unload Motors
Bases & Couplings.

1. Reason for Change
   The existing motors bases and couplings cause an inequality in the load/unload axis forces. This inequality influences the proper loading/unloading of film.
2. Description of Change
   Replace the load/unloading motors bases and couplings with the supplied ones.
3. Change Procedure
   
   Use the procedure below, for the load and unload coupling replacement:
   
   3.1 Open the right side door.
   3.2 Disconnect the motor connector.
   3.3 Loosen the two screws on the coupling (using [7/64"] Allen key)
   3.4 Loosen the two screws which hold the base to the Opto-Mech (using [9/64"] Allen key).
   3.5 Loosen the three screws [3/64"] that connect the motor to the base.
   3.6 Replace the base and connect the motor to the new one by tightening the screws [3/64].
   3.7 Install the new coupling on the load/unload axis by pushing it and tightening the [0.05"] set screw and on the motor axis from the other side.
   3.8 Connect the base to the Optomech by tightening the [9/64"] screws while placing the black adapter properly between the two coupling parts.
   3.9 Reconnect the motor connector.
4. Test Procedure
   4.1 Check the motors graph and make sure that the graphs are normal.
   4.2 Run a few loadings, attachments and cut & collect.

7. Material Disposition: The old parts can be disposed.

   Material for performing this FCO will be supplied two months after orders are placed.
