This procedure describes how to upgrade Dolev 800V+  with TSP to Dolev 800V2 with TSP.

Procedure

  
  1. Save parameters to a Software Machine Parameters Dolev 800V2 diskette (501V1M353).
  2. Turn off the machine and disconnect the main power cable.

Important: Wear an antistatic cable wrist band while performing the following steps.

  1. Remove the brushless board (503C2L011S) from the standard controller.
  2. Install the replacement brushless D800V2 (503C2L088S).
  3. Replace the panel N/P with NP for Dolev 800V2 (292E2U386).
  4. Cut the black loop wire from the 76-pin cable (P3) to change the configuration.
  5. Connect the main power cable and turn on the machine.
  6. Reboot the imagesetter with the Micro Version diskette (version 1.034).
  7. Reboot the imagesetter with the diagnostic diskette (ver 2.68 August 2000).
  8. Remove the diagnostic diskette, and then reboot the imagesetter.
  9. Reset the parameters (Tools>Setup>Set default params>Set default values).
  10. Restore the parameters from the Software Machine Parameters Dolev 800V2 diskette.
  11. Remove the diskette from the floppy drive.

Test

  

Testing and calibrating

  1. Insert the Resintensity value for all resolutions, and then calibrate the imagesetter.
  2. Check that the imagesetter registration is according to the specification. If required, calibrate with the grid measurement kit.

Test

Run an ATP or a customer job and check that the imagesetter is according to the Dolev800 V2 specification. (See the Dolev800 V2 User Manual.)

Material Disposition

   Send all the parts that you removed to Creo CIL.
