Open the unloading door and remove the output cassette.
Check the area where the top of the output cassette comes in contact with the unloading
chute (#8).
It is possible for exposure media to jam within the drum
cavity (#2). We advise that only an experienced imagesetter operator attempt to remove
media from inside the machine.
Exercise extreme caution! Turn off the imagesetter. Open the
left and right service doors. The doors are screwed shut from the inside of the main
frame. To open the service doors, open the unloading door and remove the output cassette.
Locate the Allen locking screw (#6), approximately 10 cm from the bottom of the main
frame. Release the screw. Open each door.
Remove the black light-proof covers (#4) on the top left and
right of each side of the machine.
If you find media stuck inside the drum cavity, think
carefully about how to remove the media. Slowly remove any stuck media.
