Functions

The film loading and unloading procedure begins from the control panel (CAT. NO. 503K30397). In addition, the panel is used for field service and diagnostics.

Most operations are carried out from the Host or application computer. However, many of these can be carried out directly from the Dolev 800 control panel. Use the panel during installation and service to perform the following:

• test the electronic subsystems    
  
• control optomechanical units    
  
• run/control the machine operations
  
• expose synthetic patterns
  
• calibration and adjustment

Location & Physical Description

The control panel (273E30189) is located on the right front edge of the Dolev 800 main frame. The panel consists of a LCD, four buttons, four softkeys (F-keys), and a Reset. To the right of the panel is an On/Off switch.

Replacement

Mainframe (zoom image)

1. Switch the machine off.
   
   
2. Disassemble the panel board
   Unfasten two screws and washers (#43, #44 #45) which connects the board to the (#25)
   Unfasten two screws from the front side of the plotter under the operating panel (#58).
   
   Note: There is no need to remove these screws.
   
   Disconnect the cable which is connected to the Panel assy (#57) from the bottom side.
   Carefully take out the board.
   
   
3. Install the board, following the above directions in reverse order.

Check

Insert the system diskette and power on the Dolev 800. Check that the booting is OK.
