Explanation of Conditional Change

This FCO should be performed in order to prevent the Dynamic optic cable from being caught by the lead screw or Home position detector.

Reason for Change

Sometimes the Dynamic optics cable is caught by the Lead screw or the Home position detector. The cover will prevent it.        

Description of Change

A new cover is added to the Lead screw edge.

Change Procedure

1. Open the left door and remove the light proof cover.
   
   
2. Install the new cover using the supplied phl screws on the left Lead screw holder in the place of the adjustment jig.
   
   
3. Make sure, by moving the carriage from side to side, that the cable does not get caught in the Lead screw or the cover itself.

Test Procedure

Move the carriage from side to side and make sure that the Dynamic optic cable does not get caught in the cover.
